The 2026 Picnic will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 4-6pm at Trinitie Park with food from High Cotton. The Picnic will be moved to the Pitt Center in case of extreme weather. More details and an RSVP Invitation will be sent out in early August so let us know if you don't get one by August 15! 

Please email the Chicahauk office (chicahauk@cpoaobx.org) if you are interested in renting one of the Kayak Rack spots. Please provide your Name, Chicahauk address and specific contact information (email and phone number). The racks will be rented for $175 per Membership Year which is April 1 - March 30 so the first year will be prorated from July 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027 ($131.25). There will be a contract provided for your agreement and payment must be received with the signed agreement. 

Tennis Courts - The repaving of the Tennis Courts at Trinitie Park started this morning (June 2)!  It is hoped that the weather will hold and that the courts will be available no later than June 15th. Maura Cliff is contacting all members that had courts reserved for the "down" period and is working with Your Courts to add the pickleball side to the reservation system. More details when the courts reopen!
 
Kayak Racks - The kayak rack on the canal side of Poteskeet Park is now complete! BUT - we are still working on getting the process and agreement set up for CPOA members to be able to lease the kayak racks as the work was done more quickly than anticipated!  We hope to complete those two steps shortly and provide details to members via email, Facebook and on the website as soon as possible.  Stay tuned!

The CPOA Board is pleased to inform all Property Owners (Residents) that we are switching from a manual paper reservation system for court reservations to an online platform, YourCourts.  Notices will also be posted at the Tennis Courts advising Property Owners/Residents of this transition to Tennis Court reservations.
 
This will not change the process for access to the courts. You will still need to use your assigned key to unlock and lock the tennis courts.

 

This transition will begin this month, April 2026.  Each Property Owner will be established in the YourCourts platform and will receive an email welcome with a link to change your password within the next week.  Please be on the lookout for this email, as this will be the future of our reservation system.  

 

YourCourts is currently used by SSCA for their Pickleball reservations.  If you are a member of the SSCA and have a YourCourts account (same email address), when you enter YourCourts for Chicahauk, the system will provide you direction on linking your accounts using the same password.  

 

For Property Owners who rent their homes, there will be a link provided to you for your Guests to sign up for an account using their own email address.  This route will allow the Guest to receive confirmation emails of their reservations.  The Guest Account will be deleted post vacation and Guest access will be more limited than Residents. As noted above, your assigned key is still needed to actually access the courts.

The Trinitie Pavilion Use Guidelines have been updated to allow verified members of the CPOA to reserve the Pavilion for use. Please review the updated Guidelines here for details on the reservation process as well as the responsibilities members have for use and clean-up after use of the Pavilion.
